Apple has sent out invitations for a special event scheduled to be streamed on its website on October 30th at 8:00 p.m. ET, a departure from their usual afternoon launches.
The tagline for the event is “Scary Fast”, likely a spooky hint at the anticipated new M3 Apple silicon chip.
Apple’s iMacs and MacBook series are expected to be refreshed with new models as they have yet to see a refresh this year. This speculation is also supported by the inclusion of the Finder icon as seen on Apple’s website for the announcement.
Apple typically holds in-person and virtual events simultaneously. But unlike their customary approach of hosting events, this presentation will be exclusively accessible via livestream.
